Whilst knitting may be seen as an old woman's prerogative, creating booties and hats for the neonatal unit at Poole Hospital means that I can give back and do something therapeutic at the same time. Mock me if you will, but it's a lot more fun than you think. Eventually I'll graduate to jumpers and small toys, but my current goal is to nail the woollen hat beard. And create Folk socks for all.
